Exchanges, Returns, and Refunds Policy

Size exchange policy:

We offer product exchanges across all our styles. Exchanges are available for any item in your order and will incur a standard fee of ₹100 per item. To initiate an exchange:

Include your order number, product name, current size, and requested size.

Items must be in their original condition with tags intact and unused.

Returns:

We offer a 48-hour no-questions-asked returns! To initiate a return:

Contact us at shop@mahenoorstudio.com with your order number within 48 hours of receiving your order. No returns raised after this window will be processed. 

Include your order number, product name, and contact details in the mail.

Items must be in their original condition and include all labels. Items must be in an unused, unwashed, and unaltered state.

The cost of the return request is ₹ 100 per item, which will be deducted from your refund.

Refunds on COD purchases: Any refund for a returned COD order will be issued as store credit, which remains valid for 90 days from when it's issued.

Return exclusions:

Returns will not be accepted if:

The item was not returned in its original condition (with tags intact, unused, and unaltered).

The item was purchased at a discounted sale price.

Return pickup attempts:

Return pickups will be attempted within 2–4 business days from the date of the request.

A maximum of one pickup attempts will be made.

Service availability: Reverse pickup is subject to service availability in your area.

If reverse pickup services are unavailable in your area, you’ll need to ship the product(s) to the following address:

Return shipping instructions:

Pack the items securely to prevent loss or damage during transit.

Include your Order ID and registered mobile number on the package.

Ensure all items are in unused condition with tags and packaging intact.

Refund Timeline:

Once we receive and inspect the returned item, your refund will be processed and credited within 14-30 business days to your original payment method except for partial COD (in case of partial COD, refund will be issued as store credit, which remains valid for 90 days).

Partial COD

Partial Pre-payment for COD Orders

At MAH-E-NOOR STUDIO, each dress is thoughtfully created, exclusively for you. To ensure our garments reach customers who truly value them, we request a modest advance of ₹250 on all Cash-on-Delivery orders.

This ₹250 is not an additional fee. It applies directly toward your order total—you simply settle the remaining amount in cash upon delivery.

Why nominal advance?

Validates purchase intent – A nominal upfront payment assures us of your commitment, minimising doorstep rejections.

Offsets reverse shipping – If a package returns unaccepted, this amount helps absorb the expense of round-trip logistics.

Split COD Process

Shop and fill your cart – Pick your favourites and head to checkout.

Opt for Partial COD – The payment screen will present this option.

Submit ₹250 online – Complete payment through UPI, card, or netbanking.

Get your order confirmation – You'll receive an email/SMS detailing your advance and the outstanding balance.

Clear the balance at delivery – Pay the courier the remaining sum when your order arrives.

Do Not Miss

Your ₹250 counts toward your purchase total—there's no hidden or extra charge involved.

Choosing not to accept your order or skipping the balance payment? The upfront amount will be retained by us to manage the shipping costs incurred and won't be refunded.

Something wrong with your delivery? If your order arrives damaged or incorrect, email shop@mahenoorstudio.com within 48 hours. We'll make it right with a replacement or full refund, ₹250 included, following our Returns Policy.

Cancellation from our side? In rare cases, like an item going out of stock, your entire ₹250 goes back to the payment method you used.

Once you've accepted delivery, our regular terms kick in—returns within 48 hours, ₹100 deducted per return, and no returns on discounted or custom orders.

Common Questions

Is ₹250 charged on top of my order? No. It's counted toward your purchase—your cash payment at delivery is reduced accordingly.

Why exactly ₹250? It's a reasonable sum—sufficient to signal commitment without being a burden, and roughly equivalent to one-way shipping should the order return.

When do I pay the remaining amount? At your doorstep. Hand over the balance in cash to the delivery executive.

What happens if I'm not available for delivery? Our courier partners make up to 3 delivery attempts. Monitor your tracking details and coordinate with them, or contact us at shop@mahenoorstudio.com to prevent the order from returning to us.
